- Uploading or storing illegal or inappropriate content in your tasks
- Automated access, bots, or scraping of the task management service
- Reverse engineering or attempting to discover source code
- Using the service for illegal activities or to plan/coordinate illegal behavior
4. User Tasks & Data Responsibility
You retain full ownership of all tasks, notes, and data you create and store in our task management application. By using our service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, backup, and display your tasks for the purposes of operating and improving our service.
You are solely responsible for the content and accuracy of your tasks. We are not liable for any loss of task data due to your actions, though we implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information. We recommend regularly backing up important task data.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of our company or our content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without our prior written permission.
6. Service Availability & Limitations
We strive to maintain reliable and uninterrupted access to the task management service, but we do not guarantee that:
- The service will always be available 24/7 without downtime
- Task data will be immediately synchronized across all devices in real-time
- New features or service improvements will not affect existing functionality
- The service is entirely free from errors or bugs
We reserve the right to perform maintenance, update features, or modify the service with reasonable notice when possible. We are not liable for any loss of productivity or missed deadlines due to service unavailability.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for: (a) gross negligence or willful misconduct; (b) fraud or fraudulent inducement; (c) violations of applicable consumer protection laws; or (d) other liabilities that cannot be limited or excluded under California law.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim. These limitations apply even if any remedy fails to achieve its essential purpose.

10. Account Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. You may request deletion of your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We recommend exporting your tasks before account closure. We are not responsible for any loss of tasks or data following account termination.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The task management service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will help you complete your tasks, improve your productivity, or meet your specific needs. Your use of the service is at your own risk.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California for the resolution of any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service.
California Consumer Dispute Resolution: As a California resident, you may also have the right to bring claims before California's Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services (JAMS). For disputes under $10,000, you may choose to have the dispute resolved in California's small claims court instead of arbitration or litigation. We will not require you to waive your right to pursue claims through California courts for disputes arising under California consumer protection laws.
14. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements.
16. Voluntary Support and Contributions
1. Nature of Contributions
By using the QR code or payment links provided in this application, you acknowledge that any funds sent are voluntary contributions intended to support the ongoing development and maintenance of the project. These payments are not a purchase of goods, services, or equity in the project.
2. Non-Refundable Policy
All contributions are final and non-refundable. Since no physical or digital product is being delivered in exchange for these funds, "chargebacks" or dispute requests are considered a violation of these Terms. Contributors who initiate chargebacks or disputes may have their account permanently banned from our services.
3. No Tax-Deductible Status
You acknowledge that these contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable donations. IAMRATE is not a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are treated as personal gifts or tips under current tax regulations. You are responsible for any tax implications resulting from your contribution.
4. No Guarantee of Service
Contributing funds does not grant you special access, influence over the project's roadmap, or a guarantee that the application will remain online indefinitely. The service is provided "as-is." Contributing does not create a special relationship, priority support, or any contractual obligation beyond these Terms of Service.
